We are a family of five, who live in an old house with lots of space for the cats and ourselves near the Øresund and Elsinore and the Castle of Kronborg. I work at home, and the cats and the kittens are never alone.
Our first priority in our breeding is health and temper, and all breeding stock is scanned for HCM and PKD. We also DNA test for HCM and PKD. We breed lilac, red, seal and blue colors. Most of our breeding stock are imports from USA and Spain, and we picked them up ourselves. We feed with ecological and holistic products. When you buy a kitten from us, you get a kitten that has been among people every minute. We think that the ragdoll cat comes in many shapes, but for us a ragdoll is a big gentle soft human companion, within the standards and of course with the best temper and health possible.
Our philosophy in breeding is to have a small cattery in high quality. We sometimes have older cats for sale, as we think it is better for a cat to live in a family with only a couple of animals, than in a cattery, where there are kittens from time to time. Our females normally only have one or two litters, and then they are neutralised and sold for pet preferably with a kitten. We have max. 4 grown up cats in the household - exept when we have kittens once or twice a year. Otherwise they live in fosterhomes - and are spoiled pets.
We attend shows from time to time - the most preferred is TICA shows.
We dont compromise with things that matter to us - and the cats matter - and we think that we have been very lucky in getting to know these gentle giants.
